Technical (SPI) IE throttle body?? (AND POWER BOOST VALVES)

hi

this is probly a dumb question but i aint got a clew so here goes

would it be possible to put a bigger throttle body on my car and maybe bigger injector/s

also cans some one tell me if it would be possible to put a different crank in it if so which one would u reccomend
oh and wat bhp would i be looking at
my cars a 1.4 IE
anyways

Hi J,

I’ve been out shopping today the guy recommended FSE Power Boost Valves, new back box and induction amongst other things… I only went to ask about shocks and springs lol.

He said Power Boost Valves increase fuel pressure giving better performance at top end. He was talking about a 999 fire in SPI. What finish are you looking for specifically?

I don’t know much about Power Boost Valves, perhaps someone else might know more and help out…

the valves dont work properly on an spi engine and are only ment for mpi engines so they wont work on a 999cc uno... infact it will only make it slower.

alright mate, being as your engine is a basic version of my uno turbo engine, why not fit some uno turbo injectors? they flow more fuel. also a cam from a uno turbo/punto gt as these are slightly higher lift and you could fit the vernier pulley i guess. can you post some pictures of your engine so i can have a look cheers
