My first post and I must say this forum is fantastic
Anyway, the point in hand...
I recently became the happy owner of 2.4TD sporting an R plate but this last month it has come up with a few problems... but for now I wondered if anyone had any tips on replacing the speedo sensor unit?
My speedo died a couple of weeks ago, with the occasional splutter of life, and I could do with getting it fixed with all the speed cameras this side of Manchester!
(The flip side is that the mileage isn't clocking up either... heh heh ... but gauging my speed by the rev counter is getting silly)
Anyway FIAT want £80 to fix it but I could probably do it myself if I knew where the darned thing is... I'm guessing it's somewhere on the gear box but the engine bay is so packed I can't get a good look
Any suggestions? And any good stockists of cheaper replacement parts?
