Speed Question ?

How accurate or inaccurate are Bravo HGT speedos ? And anyone willing to say how fast they have had "indicated" on their car ? Knowing the book speed varies from around 130 - 132mph. When over in Germany on the Autobahn flat and level (not down hill) I had it touching the red line in top gear indicating about 144mph!! Is that possible ?

not to sound nasty or anything but this was discussed a while back and caused a lot of bitching between certain people etc so its best forgotten.
I can tell you however that your indicated 144mph will be a definate overeading at that speed.

at around 80 to 90 mph my hgt speedo was about 5 mph out and it gets worse the faster you are going.

I'd agree with that...at 110mph, my mates read 100mph, his may have been out as well, so maybe thats not a good comparison...

Why is this such an emotive issue? all speedos read slightly high otherwise you'd get people blaming their speedo's for getting busted speeding.

My speedo registers 142MPH when I KNOW that I am travelling at 172.5MPH.
