I have mine on but have it set quite high i.e. 130mph.. ive hit this before on a private test track obviously and the lil led display flashes to tell you uve reached the limiter which nearly made me jump out of my skin, i didnt relize how fast i was going lol! When ive had it off before ive hit just over the 130 mark on my test track! :)

Just curious really, i have mine on but how about the rest of ya?
I think there might be some confusion here.:(

Are we talking about the system that locks the doors over a certain speed or just the over speed limit warning beeper/buzzer?

i have auto door lock on at a very low speed for two reasons: car jacking as above (you never know) and to annoy my girlfriend when i pick her up :p annoys the hell out of her but she always looks funny trying the door :D

Hahaha!! :D Happened to my fiance aswell couple of times! She turned red :)mad:) after realizing what was going on! As about the speed limit, since I installed the turbo, I set it to 200km/h (~125mph) to remind me "You are going to jail with 200km/h, @$$^&#@!!!)

So I'm not the only one who has it on purely to annoy the girlfriend eh?:D

Seriously though, I think its a good safety feature, and I like to know its there particularly when my girlfriend picks me up after a night out, its not uncommon for random idiots to find it funny to jump into any waiting car.

No one has yet mentioned getting a call from a garage along the lines of:
"We've just put your car on the rolling road with the engine running and it's just locked all the doors!!"

With all the MOTs being due soon - I'm sure there's bound to be one! :D

I think your mistaken, i don't think you get the choice at which speed the autolock "locks" its 20kph regardless.

You might be talking about Speed limit setting, which is the handy buzzer that lets you know if you've gone over a certain speed! I've actually got mine set at 80mph, if i go over then its nice to know its at this point the rozzers will start to take notice!

I had Speed Lock on for 2 days then turned it off, then tried Drivers Door Lock function for about 2 hours then turned that off! Only got Individual Boot Lock left to go.

Who reckons I live in a dodgy area (Leamington Spa / Coventry / Warwick) and should have it on? I may wack it on again . . .
