I think the main thing you need really though, is sound deadening, or anything to stop the rattles! I replaced my fronts with a set of In Phase XT62C components at £109.99 and a set of In Phase XT62ND coaxials in the rear. I think those set me back another £60. Sound is ok but its a bit too rattly!

so are fusion crap? im hoping to go buy some new ones tomorrow and need advice i want quality for my money

Not sure about Fusion but for £50 don't expect anything too good.

I went Clarion but at £90 a corner they ain't cheap. Stick to JBL or Pioneer and you will notice a big difference. I did the front two only to begin with and moved all sound to the front. This really made a massive difference but I did amp them. Are you amping yours?

in my last motor i ditched the rear speakers, but left them in situe (just unplugged them) and ran up to shelf mounted kenwood 6x9 250watt 4 way and in the front pioneers.

In the stilo i have kept the standard speakers with the look to add the 6x9s into the shelf

I have always been impressed with these kenwoods but they werent cheap at the time (about 8 years ago!)

Also about 6 years ago i did an install into my mates impreza, using infinity all round, and that sounded good but i havent seen infinity round for a while

ive bought hertz energy comps for the front and hertz enerdy co ax for the back - should do the trick

good man (y) quailty stuff, although you would need to amp them to get the best out of them. a nice little 4 channel should do the trick (something like TIHS)

worth it for a few extra quid is to get some sound deadening and deaden the door panels while you're at it, (have a look HERE). will make the speakers sound MUCH better and stop the annoying vibrations coming from the back ;)

if you want really budget deadening, builders flashing tape should do
