General SPAX springs

Hi all. Having been around everyplace local, and other places that aren't, I've decided to get shot of the springs I bought from whitebravo.

I got them £30 delivered, so I'd do the same, dependant on how much a courier would cost.

Wondering if anyone is interested?

It's just the labour costs D: £54 inc VAT at most places, and "a 3-4 hour job." Is it really, or are they just pulling a fast one?

Never had this job done myself, but that does sound about right.

Sorry dude, the springs are now fitted . A mate knows a guy who did it for £60, 40 minute job. We recon the rear lowering is more 50mm tho

Shall do when I find my bloody cable for the phone ¬¬. Only problem atm is the springs "lapping". The fronts make a god awful squeeking noise.

Yay! You finally got them on! I never had any squeak with them though :S

Did the rear springs sit in the original cups alright?

Yeah the rears were fine. It was the fronts that caused a bit of a headache

Sweet. I think you will like the springs. Going over speedbumps can be a bit dodgy though! and try to never hit a pothole... it is AGONY!

I have noticed that the high speed ride is better than stock. The low speed ride tho is enough to shake your whole face off. And god it is low at the back, gonna get some lower profile tyres and add spacers

Just let yours tyres down a bit. Makes it more fun too =] Just checked my nearside rear because it was sitting down around corners lol... 0.8 bar :|

Yeah it is =[ Just begrudge paying £25 to get it repaired lol. Puncture repairs ain't half shot up. I can get a second hand tyre fitted and balanced for £15 lol

Unlucky dude. And £25, where from? . Place round mine does it for a tenner cash in hand .

Also, sidenote but on topic, when the springs are wet the squeeking stops, in line with the fact they are still bedding. Just hope they do eventually shut the f*ck up
