Technical Spare Wheel

Hi, can anyone tell me how the spare wheel is secured under the bonnet please? Thanks

That's how they are secured from the factory despite what a rash of ignorant MOT testers are failing them on.

on 4x2's this piece of foam secures the spare

Thanks for the replies mines a 1990 so I'm assuming it's just kept in place by the bonnet

If you need the bits, I have them, my spare doesn't fit under the bonnet anymore. You'll have to collect them from Banbury Oxfordshire but you can have them for nothing
