Technical spare wheel bracket

Does anyone know what the mechanism is called that holds the spare wheel in place. The cable on mine has frayed and I've had to drill the mechanism to get the spare wheel off. Don't know wht tocall it when trying to locate a spare part.

got the same problem. still could not get the used part. new part need to order from local distributor but quite expensive.
