Hi all,
I’m hoping to get some help finding a paint formula for Livia, my 1968 500. She appears to have been repainted in 464 medium blue at some point, which has started to come off in spots. All the local jobbers I’ve taken it to can’t find an Axalta or PPG formula for it here in the states… and their fancy cameras universally recommend a much too gray Chrysler color. Something about it seems to be difficult for them to match. Indeed, it often seems to be a different color entirely depending on the lighting and that is some of its beauty.
I’ve got a shop that seems willing to help source / import what I need, if I can give them some direction. Is there anyone with access to a Glasruit or other European paint manufacturer’s database that can confirm the existence of a formula for it? It would be a shame if this very pretty blue is lost to the ages!
