Hello, just hoping somebody here can give me a bit of advice. I am in the process of greasing my window mechanism and have got as far as getting the door panel off. In the fixing guide it tells me to take the following layer of plastic sheeting off. It is sealed to the door with a foam substance, so do i have to break this and reapply it, if so what is it? Thanks for any help you can give Matt

Yer, the foam liner is held on with a tacky adhesive strip. If you are VERY careful, it will gradually peel back if you nip the foam sheet either side of the adhesive edge and pull gently. I still managed to tear mine though. Left it pegged to the door after un-sticking half the sheet to take my windows out. You could use some window 0r door seal strip if you were that keen, when sticking it back on, but so long as you don't actually touch the face of the sticky stuff when your peeling it off, it will stick back down again.

Even more trouble.

Hello, ive just been up to Kwik-fit and apparently the mid-section on my exhaust has gone, so ill need a new system. So i though whilst im at it, ill get a performance one fitted. Does anybody know places to get fairly decent quality but cheap enough exhaust systems??? Cheers

Put it all back together and get some spray silicone grease.

Maplin part# N71AN

Wind down the window and use the straw to spray this into the gap in the rubber surround where the window glass slides.

Job done.

And Wimmy, PUT THIS IN THE BLOODY GUIDE! :)
