hey, my bro's given me his old sony cdx-m630 cd head unit but he has lost the remote for it, the remote needed is a rmx-117 , i was wondering if anyone had one lying about from an old head init or such and are willing to sell it , as its not functional till i put the code in using it:(

im down in essex in romford :)

tho theres one goin on ebay for 16 pounds atm, il keep my eye on it tho, its got 1 day left, if i dont get it or goes out of my price il take u up on that offer:D

Remotes

This place does all the sony remote controls. You sure you need to input the code using the remote becuase the one for your HU doesnt actually have any numbers on

And apparently my remote is quite different to yours.

this is a pic of the rmx-117 i got this of the ebay item, its got numbers on it and the headunit code needs numbers too

i cant belive how stupidly overpriced they are, i think the one i need is only the size of a credit card, its rediculess:(

this head units more trouble than its worth:(.

so far its 20 quid for the surround(i need it no matter what)
10 quid for the cage
and too much for the remote:S, so all in all to buy a remote aswell i culd have got a new head into from halfords for 90 quid lol,

spose there goes my insurance money :(

or sell the given headunit - dont buy from halfrauds but from a few select places online (such as MCS direct) and you can get yourself a decent HU for a reasonable amount of money :)

i bought my sony one a couple of years ago for £200 (from MCS direct) - when it was retailing at about £450 in halfrauds...

i dunno, il see how this remote goes, the thing is its a georgus head unit lol, would be a shame to just give up on it :(
