Something wrong with ecu scan?

I ran an engine diagnostics as engine warning light was on. Said it was egr valve, so replaced it.

Went to clear the warning light, and there were two egr valve codes to clear. I could clear one but not the other. Even though the egr valve has been replaced and the car is mow running finale again.

Any suggestions?

Error code was po400. It said something to do with a connection. Do you think it may be a faulty electrical connection?

P0400 = Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Malfunction.

It means no, or not enough exhaust gas is getting into the engine. I could be a faulty or blocked EGR valve or poor electrical connection. Just because the code says EGR valve, it doesn't necessarily mean you need a new one.

If P0400 is the code you can't clear and you've already fitted new valve, check and clean the connector.

Just notice that you've started at least 4 threads about your EGR valve. Don't think we need another one to start it off all over again. Keep all the information in one place.

Ok il try that, cheers. The reason I did that was because there is never the answer on here you need. People rarely reapond to your posts correctly or give u the relevant info
