Yeah i spotted this on ebay, and mutter Fraud to myself when i read it was a 1.6.

Maybe we should turn to Twinncams for reasoning behind buying a 1.6 and then faking it to Abarth spec! Which as correctly pointed out by James M is nothing more than side skirts, standard yellow paint, and 16' alloys?

The car was factory fitted with an Abarth kit....

It wasn't though!

It neither wears the after market abarth kit, nor has it bump strips colour coded like a proper Abarth, it merely has some side skirt, looks no more like an Abarth then any other Stilo really, and the colour is BROOM not Abarth yellow.

My point is, the owner is falsly playing on the Abarth badge to sell his car, its a bit like a petrol owner making it out it almost looks like a JTD ;)

Well it does look slightly more like an Abarth than it would without the skirts, but if you are gonna do a job you might as well finish it. Not colour coding the rubstrips is just silly, if you are going for an Abarth look, likewise with the alloys, you'd think that would be the first thing to do.
