I did once disconnect the battery and this caused the KEY CODE imobilliser fail safe to activate, I dont have the red key and rightly FIAT claimed that it would cost £900 to replace all the keys and the ECU.

As a software engineer I thought this was BULL as its just an electronic ignition bypass with antena receiver, its a very simple looped system. and yes it can very easily be fooled and reset, FIAT didnt know this and was suprised when i told them.

IT DOES WORK I HAVE DONE IT .

The cheapest I've seen is codeman, they can sort it for under £200.
