Somehow when buying a car I always scrimp and go for a model below the one I really should have gone for. The listed options don't look that enticing. That is until a few months afterwards when I get the regrets.
I've already replaced the open lower parcel shelf with a proper glovebox. Now I am looking to ways of getting a boot light for these gloomy nights. The other annoyance - the tailgate can only be opened with the key. Even the wife's old Matiz had a cable release for that. The one extra that was well worth the money, the fifth seatbelt. Even though there's only two in our household this gives you an asymmetric split seat and room for our daughter and both her kids. Ok it's only been needed once or twice, but it's there.

What do you miss?

Sorry if this is a bit off topic, but exactly what equipment do you get on a (I'm assuming) UK-spec Pop?

In Australia, our Pops got all of the above features except the lower glove box plus A/C, remote locking and Blue&Me.

At this specification, I find that there isn't really anything lacking in day to day use.

The Pop in the UK is quite lean.
No A/C,
No glove box lid,
Manual mirrors,
No remote central locking, it's central locking on the key/door barrel (tailgate can only be opened with the key in the lock).
No side strips,
Black door handles and mirror covers,
No roof rails,
No boot light,
No rear head rests,
14" steel wheels,

Even our Lounge didn't come with Blue & Me!

Also some of the trim inside is a little different, flat grey and black plastic on the dash rather than the shiny or coloured items found on the other models.

I quite like our Pop, then again l really liked our old Active, there's a bit of honesty about it, it's cheap (though could be cheaper) rather than cheap made dearer with expensive toys and I quite like that.

Though ours does have colour coded mirror covers and the 5 seats belts/60-40 split, but I never asked for them as we bought it used and I didn't seeked it out because of those things, just on price/insurance grouping.

The only let down for me are the 14" wheels, and this is only because our other two have 15" wheels.
It just doesn't quite ride the road as well on 14", it's not bad, just the 15" wheels give a little plusher ride.

The overall outer (rolling) diameter of the wheels with tyres should be more or less the same with either 14 or 15 inch wheels, but the tyres of the 15 inch ones will have less sidewall. Arguably this should be less 'plush'... Possible that the 15", being allow (I presume) weigh less though
