My 2004 Multipla JTD115 has done 86,000 miles now, and the following is getting more and more noticeable.
1. Starting is never first time, and when it does, a cloud of grey smoke is visible from the exhaust
2. When flooring the accelerator, loads of smoke is visible out of the exhaust. (the amount of this is embarrassing at times!)
3. Not surprisingly, the engine oil is showing as low, and the warning "engine oil press. low" comes on round tight corners (obviously remedied by putting more in)
So it seems like the car is burning a fair bit of oil, given the above, but does anyone have any idea where this would be from, the likely fix, and a potential cost for a garage to fix it???
