General smokey add lee

hi, just bought an ex add lee with 120 on clock, very smokey in low revs, any ideas please

Piston rings worn letting oil by. Get a compression check done.

What type of smoke?
Black: air supply problem, clean or ghange air filter.
Blue-gray: oil in combustion chamber, change piston rings.
white, and coolant level low: head gasket needs to be changed, usually following an overheating event.

Its thick black sooty smoke, ive changed the oil and all filters, it doesnt do it at high speed or tick over, just when you pull away from stationary, it puffs out like ivor the engine, as soon as your up to 2k revs its fine
