Technical Small problems with 1996 Ulysse

Hi All,

I'm new here. Just bought a Fiat Ulysse from 1996, its a 2.0 Turbo EL. I have some small (and some bigger) problems with the ulysse, I hope you guys can help me out:

• The remote FOB only locks the doors, but doesn't unlock them, is there some magic way to fix this?
• The key that came with the car works fine for starting, but it doesn't work on the locks (both passenger,driver and rear side). The lock just turns all the way around. Since it's all the locks, I'm inclined to think it's the key that's not good.
• The read cigarette lighter doesn't work. The front one does, so the fuse is OK. Any suggestions?
• If I want a new key / remote, I need the key code (card) which you get with the vehicle, only the previous owner lost it. Is there any way to find the Key Code to get some new keys and a new remote?

Planned to buy new locks from ebay at least for the Passenger and Driver side doors. Dealer quoted 319 euro for a new Fob, excluding programming.

Will fit an aftermarket RKE set.

Ours came without the code card - we got all the info from a Fiat dealer. Think it cost about £30 at the time.

Since I'm not sure it's either the key or the lock, a set of new locks cost about 30 euro on ebay, and a aftermarket RKE system costs 10 euro i'm going to try that. The dealer wasn't really helpful.
