I am planning on getting some new lowered springs for my 55s. I would also like some new alloys. However, i am wondering if I could do this without effecting my insurance too much. i will be 18 when i have the money to do this.
Also, with alloys, can anyone surrgest where to get some fiat alloys, as i have heard that these costs less on insurance that specilist alloys.

You would best running this past your insurers first. They are all different, although i have never heard of manufacturer alloys costing any less. Possibly some people hoping that in the event of an accident the insuers won't notice the alloys if they are manufacturer ones.

Cheers

Nope. They are good for modifications - they only charge extra for mods that may increase peformance...like go faster stripes and that. No but seriously Quinn are mint :)
Yeah, they were cheap until i passed my test.
They were my cheapest quote once I passed

The 55s is the easiest car to mod as it comes with no extras, I loved mine to bits.

Start looking at higher spec mk1's and thinking what you could use off those...alloy wheels, better interiors, body coloured bumpers, body colored mirrors, clear indicators, roof spoiler. Just add things, using FIAT OEM parts does usually work out cheaper than using aftermarket both in buying and insurance costs.

no i didn't know they went bust..but thatnks for tellin me..there where pretty cheap for me whan i passed.
and atm...im just looking for these simple mods because i have very little money,
and idk if you think my car is an "oap's" car....because its my car and i love it too bits and when i've finsihed it'll kick ass..
