It's always been slow had car about 3mths
Thinking about this the uConnect system is not like a traditional AM/FM system. The radio is effectively computer driven. The delay you are seeing is the system booting and restoring "things" where it left off the last time you cut the ignition. I know the Sat Nav takes time to come online. Never really timed the radio but it certainly not instant.
Yes, usually they are based on Windows CE, so not very efficient
I don't know if the newer models are still based on Windows CE, but I'm pretty sure the one in the 500x is.It'd be interesting if someone could measure the start time with a chronometer.
