Technical slipping auto box

Help. Can any one give me some advice on why my auto gear box on my Ulysse is slipping when hot! every thing runs ok when it starts up and runs well. then it starts to slip pulling away from stand still plus the reverse gear slips and to pull away i have to put it in 2nd gear.

Depending on the mileage the car has done,it could be general wear and tear, a fluid change sometimes helps which would be the cheaper option to go for first. I hope you manage to sort it quickly and easily.
