General Auto gearbox problem

Hi guys.
Bought another Ulysse yesterday. I now have three (one dynamique and two eleganzas). The dynamique is now my spares vehicle, so it is slowly being dismantled.

My latest addition has an automatic gearbox problem. Every now and again, it sticks in 3rd gear. Turning off the ignition and starting again clears the problem. Back on 13th March 2013, Looi2 had the same problem which turned out to be a pressure problem and a change of solenoid cured it. Does anyone know where this solenoid is located? Can I get another on Ebay? And how easy it it to DIY?

Well there wasn't much advice out there. I thought this might be a common problem with Ulysse auto gearboxes. However I've found a gearbox specialist who will do the job for £150 plus parts (2 solenoids £75 each). So £300 in all. Has to be done!

the other thing you might want to check is the gearbox oil level as i had the same problem and it turned out the previous owner had over filled the gearbox.
