My slave cylinder has gone in my bravo, its dun 105,000 miles n only 3 weeks ago i had the clutch replaced.

How much roughly should a mechanic charge for this so i dont get ripped off

Also is it quiet common in bravos?

I had mine dun wen I fist bought the Bravo, bou 2years ish nw. Cost me £100 parts n labour then. Had it dun again in February along with full service cos brake fluid was leaking, but this time the garage only charged me £28.50! :) (different garage by the way)

I say look around gettin quotes, or save urself sum dosh go Fiat get the part and den follow Stephens guide on DIY :)

Its a 5 minute job! part cost varies depending where you go. I let the garage do mine a few years ago for £25. Its not uncommon, nor is it specific to fiat bravo's. Bearing in mind yours has seen over 100 thousand miles, you cant argue really...
Theres a ot of wear and tear on cars that folk often forget about, like bushes, ball joints, shock absorbers etc. They only think as far as putting fuel in, the occasional screenwash, and tyres when the garage tells them they are bald at MOT's!
