Has it been acceptable to drive around with your fog lights on???

I have noticed it a hell of alot more lately!!

On the way back from Tesco I put mine on and left them on till I got home to see how many people actually noticed.... NOT ONE.... I was even behind a police car at the round about and they didnt seem to give a **** either!

When I got home I got out and looked to see how bright mine are and I think they are worse than some of the ones I have seen going about! how could no one have flashed me or beep or even gave me the fingers??

I dont understand why anyone would do it :S I didnt see a difference on the road, except like 1ft infront of me BUT by the time anything is that close its too late anyway :S

yeah, it really pisses me off when its wet and you get nothing but glare from lights and road, i just full beam them back till they put the fog lights off, another thing that gets me is the drivers that put on their rear fogs when its a bit drizzly, where did these people get their licenses?????? a cereal packet????

i see it everwhere

i even see alot of drivers using foglights as extra sidelights. the police never do anything with them.

the only time i ever use my rear fog is when someones sitting right on my tail for a long time, it gets them right off it asap

Driving the A90 on a daily basis it seems that in fog (which is regular!) is the only time theyre nae used!

the new bravo has the turning lights option which uses the foglights all the time
if i turn left or indicate left the left fog light comes on and if i turn right or indicvate right the right foglight comes on
i usualy sit turning the wheel left and right making the lights alternate at a standstill people must think ive a dodgy fog light setup

some cars have them on all the time..my mums volvo v40 fog lights always came on and you couldnt turn them off...aperntly its a safety feature in some cars

Before I upgraded my headlights I use to use my fog lights as the Standard Seicento Headlighs were a bit pants.

I do use my Fogs when I on the A77 as parts of it are unlit, or if I'm taking a backroad home, just gives me a wee bit more light.

Fitted the main headlight bulbs, so now if somone cuts me up, they get blinded with my full beam.
