It was not sold in Europe.
The Palio and the Palio Weekend Mk1 were sold in some European countries, but without much succes.
Fiat stopped selling them in most of Europe about 10 years ago.

I found some info on wikipedia. as you said, it could be Palio. I searched for workshop manuals with no success. I remember took it for cabin air filter change, and after a couple of minutes the guy told that he couldn't find the compartment! So with the aid of a mirror and torch, I found it and with difficulty finally changed the filter.

In our Palio Weekend MkI the cabin filter is located in the footwell, next to the throttle pedal, it's difficult to change it indeed.....

in india in year 2004 palio sedan version was called petra

Palio was renamed as palio stile and reintroduced

Estate version called palio weekend was stopped

All palio models discontinued in india since about 5 tears

I think it's sold in China and Brazil. Not sure

The second generation Palio ( in fact a rebadged Punto) is still being made in Brazil and Greece.
