Side repeaters

Hey

I got some clear repeaters for my car and was expecting them to just be replacement lenses. They came and they are a whole unit which goes into the car, with a type of plug on the end.

I also got 2 amber bulbs with them. Will they already have bulbs in, and if not, how do i put them in? Also how do I put them onto the car?

Tez gat a plastic spatula,or yous a card of some sort,gentliy push into the edge of the lense and it will pop off then just take the plug out and put it in the new one and pop back in.

You will need to fit the new amber bulbs aswell, as the current ones will be clear thus will be no good with clear lenses!!!

Yep as tommy said,just twist the pug on the lense and it it comes out,slot bulb in hey presto.

Which end do I push from? The side nearest the front of the car or the side nearest the door?

Done . Only took a couple of minutes. They came out by using a screwdriver on the end closest to the front of the car.

looks good Tez surprisingly easy task isent it.

Did you get some dye for the gators?? i just got some for the temporery fix of my door cards.

Dont think i will need it all if theres any left you have it if you need it.

scotty, i actually found some black gaiters in a marea in a scrappy a couple of days before the brown ones arrived. cheers for sending them though. im sure theyll come in handy someday
