side repeaters

just wanted the opinion of someone that has bought side repeaters like the ones off this website i was wondering about the writing thats on them and if it is very visable

i've not bought any but looking at the pic they look a good quality - about the writing on them i think it may actually be a sticker, but i'm sure a quick email to them could clear it up?

alternatively www.fastfiat.com have them but they may be the same product and are more expensive when delivery is added

the writing is moulded on and not removable. It is only noticable close up really. I have the smoked ones, in my opinion the quality is poor as i had trouble with them condensing, i had to re-seal them. It seems that i am just a one off though!

mine have been perfect, no problems with condensation, so you might just have been unlucky with yours?

I got my HGT ones second hand off Si, don't know if he had to do anything to them, but they are perfect...

to be honest i was prejudice against them as soon as i got them out the box. I ordered smoked and what i saw was a clear lense with a black background. Hardly smoked imo! I was going to sprey them but still havent got round to it. I also think the writing in them makes them look a bit crappy so i was going to take that off before spraying, but havent got round to it!

I dont like the way you can see the glued joint around the edge, again i thought it looked a bit tacky! Spraying would also sort this......

Saying that i work in injection moulding and for what it is, the quality isn't bad and i do seem to be a one off when it comes to a poor seal so i would recommend them! Especially giving the alternatives

Anyone got any ideas why they shouldn't be for a HGT?

I thought the electrics were mainly the same throughout the range.

Mind you, red ones wouldn't look too good on mine as its a lovely shade of Boreol Red......

The side repeaters are a different shape, and they won't fit into the recess...
