Tuning Shoehorn a V6 in there?

Just had a little photoshop fun..

Does anyone here own a V6 Alfa to take some measurements of the engine? It wouldn't be the best handling car, for sure.. but it would be loads of fun at the traffic lights..

How to cram it all in that tiny engine bay though..

But hey, people have put V8 engines in classic Mini's, so I'm guessing there has to be a way, right?

some one is already fitting a V6 Alfa engine, and to get around the handling its going to be fitted as a mid engine

I prefer sticking the engine in the front to give it more of a 'sleeper' look..

Nearly bought a gtv with a v6 a couple of years ago. Half way through the test drive it went on fire :O Needless to say I passed on it

Having owned a V6 155 I can safely say it won't fit in the front of a Panda! Was a tight fit in the 155!!!!

You don't need a V6 when you can get the same power from a turbo 1.4. It doesn't make sense to put a large engine in, even if all you want to do is drag race it.

Looks are fleeting, particularly under the bonnet. A car that drives well stays longer in the memory.

heh with me, it would be somehow fitting a nice diesel engine into a 4x4 fiat panda.. that would be a mod i'd do.

I have a alfa romeo 164 with 3000cc V6, and I tell you that the motor doesn't fit in a panda

i reckon you could make it fit if you removed things like the suspention, frount brakes, steering rack and radiator. could make for a comic drive

Clive Theace built a V8 Panda about ten years ago and there's a mid-mounted Alfa V6 Panda using Hawk Stratos and X-1/9 bits somewhere.
