hello all, just bought a sprint blue 20vt, and it has a blown head gasket, also the clutch judders, does the engine have to come out to do the head gasket? if it does i,ll get the clutch done at the same time, better do the timing belt too i suppose, anyone had all three done at the same time? any ideas on costs?

na the engine stays in for a head gasket change, it would be silly to not to the belts and tensioners at the same time.

it's not really too bad of a job just a fiddly one, not the foggiest what you might be charged by a garage though i'm afraid!

ok cheers, perhaps i,ll put up with the clutch for a bit then, thanks
