Hi,
Our recently purchased multipla was not looked after very well interior wise and much of the plastic trim is scratched and generally shabby.
Is there a paint that is specially for renovating plastic trim and if so - is it any good?
I'd rather recycle the trim than replace so I would be grateful for any suggestions..........bring 'em on!

Cheers,

Greg

Hammerite:p no just kidding , foilatec make interior car dash paint but any good i dont know . Im debating taking all the cloth off mine and spraying it the same as the outside.

Cheers JTDman - the cloth parts are not too bad but the other plastic bits are really looking rough!:(

might be easier to get better parts from scrappie? I used a plastic filler for scratches and plastic paint on a old car I had,did look good but was alot of work/messing about involved. Depends what your after really but could get spare dash from scrappie, paint it etc then fit it when you can thus keeping car on road meantime?

You can generally 'hide' those scratches pretty well with a silicone-based 'cockpit spray' such as ArmorAll. But beware -- these leave a long-lasting lubricant film which is best kept well away from the steering wheel or the pedal rubbers... one way to do this is spray onto a cloth, well outside the car, and then use the cloth to apply the 'spray' to the plastic parts.
