I can't remember seeing one of them in our district.
Oh yes I do last time I saw one was when my Town was part of "Sedgefield Council" since we were all amalgamated into "Durham Council" we don't get f*** all in regards to Road Maintenance etc!.

I woke up this morning and made an attempt to go to work. Lost my wallet with train ticket and all my money in so I just text my boss saying it isnt happening.

I am. The roads despite being icey are mostly clear of numpties. Takes me the same time to get into work as normal, obviously there's more prep before leaving but it works well to wake me up before I drive

Yep, loving it. The only problem is that the fuel economy is taking a hit from having to run the aircon all the time...38 degrees tomorrow :woot:

I am not enjoying it for a second. Where I live, we had a dusting of snow once a few days ago and that has been ice for the days since. It's lethal! Someone where I was was taken away in an ambulance yesterday because of it.

its 1.10am and wife just come back from asda after doing shopping and theres 4" of snow outside...I was going to go insteard but '8 out of 10 cats' was on TV and I laugh at that
i would try arguing with that, saying it's not so much the south, as the southeast/central. but remember a local news report the other day of a woman crying because she couldn't get up a hill..... that's going to bring the average down a bit.
but still maintain south west is different, maybe not as soft as the rest rest of the south?
Hmm. Well the forecast was for it to be dry. Woke up this morning and we now have 8-10" on the ground (3" overnight). No sign of a council gritter so no one is going anywhere this morning.
