Technical severe loss of power on acceleration

Hi all, some advice needed, had the rear discs and pads replaced on my 59 plate bravo tjet 150 today and now I have a serious issue, on acceleration and sometimes just when cruising the power dies off completely until I ease off the throttle, then I can accelerate again, no warning lights or ecu light I called the garage and they said nothing they have done could cause this problem but it was fine before they did the work, I am taking it back to them at 9 in the morning, has anyone got any suggestions as to what they should look for.

i would suggest brake switch

they might have knocked it out of adjustment when pumping the brakes

see if the brake lights are on

Where do we find the break switch?

would be helpful incase I end up with this issue

The switch is at the top of the brake pedal arm near the bullhead at least thats where the guy put his spanner to sort the issue.
