engine pic on FB. willg et some up here when not on phone.

engine intended for the car was a 1368cc 16v fiat block. but when the valves bent there was only one avalible near by.... a 1242 16v, so im running a 1.2 16v engine but will probably put the 1.4 block on at a later date to get the 1368 going well.

ecu is temp on the battery just to get it running, and im going for a exhaust tomorro as i dont have one. other than the exhaust its completely finished :).

2 weeks, 2 engines, 2 looms..... 1 16v SEICENTO!! (gutted about valves and loom or it would have took a weekend.... )

new parts :-

wishbones + bush's,
hubs
wing
gearbox
mounts
exhaust
engine
inlett
tb
pipercross venom
fuel pump
wheels
tyres
suspension

and i have a few bucket seats to go in pretty soon.

not bad for 14 days work :)

ok ses had some running problems. mainly excessive spluttering in all gears at all revs....

im only saying one thing MY GOD i love the sound of the panda 100hp cams at high revs.... WHAT a NOISE!!!!

yeshhh. but only because the block i chose comes from fiat with double valve springs and panda 100hp higherlift cams as standard.

thats the diff from the punto 85 and bravo 80 engines, ALTHOUGH due to these few small things its alot easier to get power out. its rumored a simple induction cone can add alot more than on other engines due to it.

Ok quick update, nothing new its all been on FB but while i have internet for a sec ill wack some up on here.

Polished the car, and cleaned the engine bay. Never got around to doing the block but that will be done shortly, aswell as the ecu being placed in another location.

I also tinted my rear lights and painted around the numberplates both Front and Rear. Tints polished to a complete mirror finish!.

alfa ones are on the bravo still. no replacement for them. there 15" so would fit the sei with smaller tyres but unsure atm. ill see what comes up. punto sportings are on the menu atm, always quite liked them.

well as some of you know the 16v died due to the snapping of the alternator belt which inturn jumped and jammed the timing belt causing it to snap.

i now have a replacement 16v engine ive got which had 40k on the clock and looks a minter, its going in tomorrow and then the car will be fully running again and even better than before with a few mods :p

Alright alright keep your hair on Steve :D
So your like me, don't refer to your car as a female.
As for the belt guard, sounds like a good idea.
I must stop thinking about Sei Sportings...... ok my Sei spent more time off the road than it did on the road but, sad to say I miss the thrill I used to get from driving it.... still it had 1 very good long run before it got sold.
Hmm me thinks I'll have to take Dubster down to the Lake district sometime, very comfy on long journeys.
