Picked up my new panda today. The red one that was on ebay with 20,000 miles. It is great and is in fantastic condition. It does not have a servo but I thought it would do being a later injection one. Can anyone tell me when servos were brought in? Mine is early 93.

Would it be possible to fit a servo to it? The brakes are fine and it is not a problem not having a servo but just wondering.

Yes I thought it would be abit involved, didnt think it would be as easy as just bolting the servo in.

I am not bothered about non servo brakes, I am used to them after driving my other panda, if I drive any other car I usually end up jamming the brakes on hard because you dont need to stamp on the pedal like you do in a Panda:p

Yes. I know that feeling all to well. Then get used to modern brakes, back into the Panda and its omg where are the brakes

I think servo was from 1993 but with middle tunel inside (gearbox gnob) and new twin coil injection system. Yours is with bosch injection (I think)
Probably you've got master cylinder on driver site. Pandas with servo's got it on passenger side. There is also bar inside cabil. To change it you need to get whole system from other Panda. In yours one there is no moor to fit servo on driver side. And like MEP said...no big different:(
