Servicing cost on 1.2?

Hey

I need a full service and MOT done on my car (1.2). I've been quoted £180 for it. Is this a reasonable price? First time I've had to go through an MOT.

depends what is being done for the service? an mot is approx 40-50 quid so the service is approx 120-130, for this i would want a min of oil, oil filter, air filter, and spark plugs and poss fuel filter..


like i say depends what is being done for the sevice.

Kwik Fit - £159 for a service and mot, good value imo,and there more than likely 1 near u too.

Where mines will be going soon hopefully.

Buy the parts and if needs be a haynes manual, and do the service yourself. you will save a fortune, know all the parts have been changed, and if you have never done it before, you will learn the basics. a morning should cover it.

you can D I Y the service for £50 and an mot is only £50. Hows that for a reasonable price? lol.
