hi

i have a 08 graunde punto and it has 31k on the clock it is due a service but i am unsure how much it would be and what are the basic things needed done to it. i live near aberdeen portlethen and was woundering if anyone knew any good garages in aberdeen that do a good job and are cheapish i dont want to use arnold clark as had some isues with them before.

your help would be greatfull

whatever you do, don't put it into Kwik fit

basic service IMO should include spark plugs, oil and filter change, air filter change, fuel filter change and the washer bottle topped up, things like brakes inspected for wear with wheels off and pads and discs replaced only if required.

yup if you can get someone to do it for you wont cost a lot for it and its good to learn

Well my last service was something like £120 but they did everything including an engine flush and the like. A service with less costs from about £50 up if memory serves but it does depend on what they replace of course.
