I dunno...I think it would.

The manifold isnt a perfect vacuum when the butterfly in the throttle is closed, so it should reach atmsopheric pressure soon after the engine stops.

But Id think that atmospheric pressure is out of the range of the MAP (its often above 1 BAR) -so it'd leave it in an error mode constantly.

I dunno. I think you might be right!
 
she's in the garage now, afer needing jump starting this morning.. grrr

fingers crossed this is the end of the problems for now (despite the engine running lean, needing a second injector, a SS exhaust system and a remap!)
