Technical Selecta Speedo Cable

I've done that in Selecta and it was easy, so maybe there is something wrong with it?

You need to dive into your engine bay:) then pull up spmething like cable cover just before gearbox and use tool (spanner?) size (16-18 I don't remember) There is grey (plastic) bolt (looks like bolt but it's like bolt outside cable) and unscrew it...
it's more complicated to put it back because there is smal square hole and cable must fit it properly....

If you don't understand my "manual":) please email me and I'll try to explain somehow:)

It is said in this thread that new cables are around £26. But doesn't say exactly how it's removed from gearbox!

Last Fiat price was £35 but they're now no longer available :( But I gots me a spare from a certain donor Selecta :)

So I just need to undo the spanner bit (I know the bit you mean as I have had a bit of a gander :p) and the cable should pull out

Have you done that?

Take picture of that place and I'll show you where and how:)

My Panda Selecta has been sold, with crying eyes, bo I had to, there is new family member on the way.
But she's gone to other Panda owner, maybe even Panda member...?

(I don't have any better picture)
