Technical seicento wipers

Hi All,
Anyone got an ideas about a problem with the wipers on my Seicento (02 Plate).
After getting the wipers stuck on a frozen windscreen my wife said she smelled burning and after this the wipers will only work on the flick down once setting and the fast setting but they wont park properly so I have to time switching them off just right for them to sit at the bottom of the screen. could it be the wiper arm or a relay, or the motor or something else.

You've damaged the power track inside.

thanks I have taken the motor out and the worm gear from the motor shaft had smeared grease all over the power track. I have cleaned up the power track and the 3 copper contacts. put it back together all the wiper speeds now work but I have obviously I have moved the circular track and the wipers don't park in the correct place. Are there any marks that need to be lined up or is it just trial and error :-( thanks Sim.

Remove the arm from the motor, cycle the motor and refit the arm in the correct place.

let the motor park as said. think the arm goes on bottom left ish if i remember correctly.
