Technical Seicento Sporting PAS

Another newbie question! When the front end is off the ground the PAS automatically turns the wheels to the left. Being a bit of a non-technical individual is there anyone out there that has encountered this problem as well or indeed knows the answer to this? It is an MOT fail although if you remove the fuse then hey - it's a pass!!

With the fuse in, is the steering heavier in one direction that the other?

If so then one of the motors is likely to be faulty.

These are quite complex systems: shouldn't be too expensive to get a FIAT dealer to run a diagnostic on it.

Thanks mate I am going to phone Fiat this morning. A fairly curious problem nonetheless with a complex outcome no doubt! I'll post how I get on!
