Technical Seicento MPI Cylinder Head - Different Castings?

Hi All,

It's been a long time since I've been on this forum - even had to create a new account, but I'm hoping one of the many experts I can remember from here can help me out with some advice .

My very much loved 2003 Seicento Active Sport (affectionately known as Baby Blue), which I've had for 12 years, has just blown it's head gasket... I suspect the head itself will need to go (it's been skimmed before and it's probably quite close to it's tolerance now, might get lucky but I doubt it). I've been offered a new head which looks in great condition for a pesky £45 - bargain! Only issue is it has a different casting number to the one that's on her at the moment - I thought all MPIs had the same head but guessing I'm wrong?

Head currently on the car: 55187456
Head I've been offered from slightly older (but still MPI Sei): 46770033

The question is of course... can I just switch them over? Or does my current head have things in a different place etc...

Any advice very much appreciated!

If the intake bolt patern is the same the head will fit.
I know that the panda has a different head because of the engine mount.
They al fit the block but if you put a cento head on a panda you cant mount the engine mount
