hi my girlfreind has a seicento sporting single point injection

if you rev it when at normal temp it is fine

but if the car has got up to temp and you are drivin it when u come to a stop the car cuts out.

only does this when warm

i have checked the idle control motor thing :) and that goes in and out smooth and cleaned it up

Any ideas ?

no just had mot and was put on the diognostics and all come up fine b4 this fault last week.

well i removed it from the throttle body and it moved in and out when ignition turned on and off not when the car was running.
it has had new plugs when serviced about a month ago

Could it possibly be the small pipe from the ecu to the throttle body, sorry for lack of technical words but i had this problem because the pipe had come off and car was in limp home mode. Hope this helps (y)

I had the same problem when i had my mk1 clio a while back, i cleaned the TDC sensor with some throttle body cleaner and a toothbrush, not sure if its the right way to clean it, but it worked well and the problem was gone

the car used to start fine when cold then when the engine was hot used to cut out at lights and also had trouble starting when restarting at a petrol station.

goodluck

could it possible be the lamba sensor as it has went through its mot about 2 weeks ago. it did it before i took it there and now so it has not changed since the mot.

you will not belive this !!
if you buy cheaper NGK spark plugs majority made in france if they are throw them in the bin only buy jap ngk plugs, or other makes champion or bosch ect.
this was the whole cause of this ordeal with the car, stalling after being run but would idle and u could rev it all day long.
