Seicento engine problem

Hi. I've got a 10 year old Seicento, that has recently developed a problem. Most of the time it runs brilliantly, but recently it has developed the following:
After starting and running fine for say 30 miles or so, switch off, and park up for an hour or two. Restart the engine, and it ticks over fine, revs ok, the engage gear, let out the clutch, and no matter how hard you try to rev it, it just stalls. Leave it another couple of hours, and its fine again. AA recommended changing the two coils, which I have done along with the plugs. No better. It's intermittent but bloody annoying. Any ideas.

have a search first someone else might have had the same problem if you can't find anything then start a thread, you'll get a good response from that section. It's a busy and friendly section!
