Technical Seicento 900 starting problem when warm

Less thhan that, I think, if you don't buy from FIAT. But I'd not get one from a scrappy, as they're pretty fragile (which is why a lot of people using aftermarket ECUs ditch them and go to hall effect ones).

The "one bolt missing" phenomenon only occurs with 899 cars.............

Mine does have a bolt missing on my 899cc TDC sensor but don't see how this could cause stalling only when warm, nobody has explained why this could be the problem

when the engine is warm,,the cranksensor advances the ignition,,a poor input from the sensor may give incorrect data to the ecu..
the missing bolt is not the problem but it may have allowed dirt to accumulate behind the sensor and increasing the gap to the teeth.this was def the case on mine.the sensor now sits closer to the pulley and may be giving a better signal.

Thankyou all very much for your help and alas i found the problem. not temp sensor or injector not ecu but as first told and I thought I knew better it was the TDC sensor or crankshaft sensor, Car now runs perfect. becaue the car warmed and then had problem, I thought it had to be something else. The TDC sends a signal to the ECU for RPM's as well as when to spark and this is when the problem started. As the car gets warm the ECU adjusts the idle speed , advances ignition and can't do that if the TDC (crankshaft sender) is faulty and not just broken. What through me was when I push started it warm it would start but not idle so I thought must be some thing else. This seems is a common fault in Seicento's,and some other fiats. So if you have same problem I would check this first.

Thank you all again. Car is running like a dream now
