Can anyone please help?I'm having a problem sussing how to get my brake drums off.I've posted before on this subject, and bought a Haynes manual, but my car seems to be different. My drums have wheel studs screwed thru into the hubs, and two smaller threaded holes(I think to use as a removal aid).Do I have to unscew the studs to get the drum off? From what I have read on the forum,Sei sportings have wheel bolts as standard.Any suggestions,as my brakes are waiting for an overhaul?I will try to post a photo later.

Leave the studs in place: they thread to the hub and can stay put. If the other bolts are there (12mm heads, one a spire bolt) remove them.

To remove the drum, handbrake off (chock the car and put it in first), remove wheel, and the drum (once the bolts, if present, are out) should just come off. But usually they require a bit of persuassion. Often you have to tap round the drum with a screwdriver and a rubber mallet.

Sometimes it helps to disconnect the actuators.

Cheers, yeah, the studs have 19mm hex bases screwed against the drums.I had a quick go at shifting them, but I need a deep socket to fit over the stud as the are pretty tight. ta for the advise.
