I have a problem with my passenger seat seatbelt warning light/buzzer. There seems to be a loose connection as the warning is coming up randomly, especially when going over bumpy roads ( which is most of the UK at the moment) It is quite annoying as my passenger has to unplug tge seatbelt and reinsert it every few minutes. I have attached a photo of the underside of my passenger seat. There are 3 plugs visible. A small black one on the left hand side, a large orange one in the centre and a small white one on the right. I'm assuming that disconnecting one of these will disable the warning buzzer but I'm a bit nervous to disconnect the wrong one and possibly cause an airbag problem. Would anyone perhaps know the best cause of action to get rid of the annoying warning buzzer?

There will be two sensors/switches on the seat , one for the actual seatbelt latch connector and also a passenger detect (which is usually a pressure sensor sensing that someone is actually sitting in the seat) and of course a side airbag firing cable set.

❗You're messing with the ultimate safety of the car in case of accident defeating any of the sensors, so I wouldn't - just fix the fault❗

I'd first check that you've fully plugged each connector in

What did you clean the seats with ?... if water potentially is there some water still present?

The seats might get better, time will tell.

If you have a dehumidifier I'd be very tempted to put it in the car and run it for a day or so.... or drive around with the aircon and heat on
