Technical Seat base question

Hopefully, someone can help
I'm trying to swap the double passenger seat to a single
I know the drivers base will fit that side, but without spending loads of money on a new one, I'm trying second hand and struggling to find one
Would a 2006 onwards base fit a 2004

As they are different part numbers (and a different shape) it would seem unlikely.

As a check on that, vendors of after-market reduced-height bases (used if a swivel is to be fitted) sell distinctly different versions for the pre- and post- 2006 models.
