Any luck Paddy on those manuals. I have a 1.9D and I was told that all service data is available from the main dealer on cd and cheap as chips apparently. Gonna try now and i'll let you know. I'd prefer a good old fashioned paper one with authentic grease marks on it but hey whats this dusty old thing sitting in the corner there...oh look, a printer :doh: Yeah dont take me long.

Went to the main dealer and they were no help whatsoever. Said they couldn't get any and as far as they knew you couldn't get them other than on-line, which i've done.

They do tend to be more helpful nowadays but who can afford the prices they charge. I cant. I'm a plumber by trade and i consider myself a reasonable one too. You wouldn't believe the % of people who now barter (even beg) for me to give them a "discount". These same people will gladly take their Merc down to the main dealer and part with oodles for a service. Possibly this is why they need me to discount.

Just another reason why these forums exist.
