Hi Guys,

I have searched but not found an answer unfortunately. The speedo and mileage in my 2005 Scudo 1.9d is temperamental, they both go off at the same time which leads me to believe it is a sender issue rather than the cog drive in back of clocks.

The problem is I cannot locate the speedo sender, is it on the gearbox? I can see a bolt in sensor of some sort on the gearbox close to bellhousing and near to clutch pipes but it doesnt look the right shape compared to suggested replacement parts on eBay? Also I tried to remove the plug on this sensor to clean up contacts but cannot remove it.

Is this the speedo sender? Or is it elsewhere?

Any advice much appreciated

Thanks

Will

Hi Will,
sensor info is either from rear of g-box, or from ABS data,

if you've not got ABS - then it'll be the g-box..

Thank you. I managed to find a pic of the gearbox removed and could see the white speedo sender at the back near to diff. I don't think it has ABS, hopefully will get chance to have a better look underneath to see if it has the gearbox sender this week...
