Is it advisable to eject the CD and put it back into it's case at the end of the day or is it ok to leave it in the Sat Nav slot all the time?

I leave my satnav disk in the unit 24/7

I also have the CD-Changer, so another reason not to remove it.

you'll probably damage it more getting it out and putting it back in than leaving it in there!!!! So if you don't need tha sat nav slot for anything else i suggest you leave it in there

Just to be on the safe side, it is worth making another copy on a CD-R, then you always have a good CD should the one in the SAT NAV get damaged.

How often are the navigation cds updated and where do you get them from.

Also what are the differences in them.

The differences? Well, new roads get built, priorities change, new roundabouts, etc, so the updates take that into account.
